Want to join Pack 122?
We have taken a break from Scouting since March 2020 but we are excited to get back to our Den meetings and activities beginning in October 2020. Because Den meetings are smaller groups, we are able to meet inside the Scout Lodge safely distanced from each other and complete our Den activities together (which is always more fun!). Den leaders are happy to work with families that aren't able to meet in-person so that you and your Scout can keep up on all the Scout activities and stay up on what the rest of your Den is doing to advance with them in June 2021!
Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we are unable to hold our larger Pack meetings in 2020. We hope to have all the Dens meet as a Pack again sometime in 2021 when the weather is nicer and we can safely distance outside and not be too cold or wet!
During a normal school year, you would be able to come to a Den or Pack Meeting and see what we're about but during these interesting times, we are happy to talk to you via phone to explain to you about Cub Scouts and some of the activities we are doing this year. We encourage you to come try out a Den meeting in-person if you are able to do so to really get a feel for the fun we have every month.
The Parents section of the Scouting Web site has more information about how the Cub Scout program works. You can also learn more about how Pack 122 works with Scouts and their families by reading the Pack Welcome letter.
What is Cub Scouts?
Our core principles are summed up here. Cub Scouts are for boys and girls from kindergarten through 5th grade. You are free to choose any Cub Scout Pack you would like to so we encourage you to come check us out and see if we are a good fit for your child!
When does the Pack meet?
Den meetings take place during the school year starting in October 2020 and going through June 2021. The den-specific information on these pages reflects ranks and dens for the school year that starts in September.
- Dens meet at least twice each month (Except for Lions who meet just one time a month) at the same location. Click below to find out specific times and days.
Attendance: Scouts who miss no more than one Den meeting and one Pack meeting during the school year will earn the Perfect Attendance Award.
Uniforms: Scouts should wear the Class A or Class B (pack T-shirt) to all den meetings. Class A is required for all Pack meetings. Please make sure your uniform is updated with current rank and awards. Click below for uniform links.
- Before meeting rank badge requirements, Scouts must have completed their Bobcat requirements.
- At any rank, Scouts can work to earn belt loops or pins through the Academic and Sports Program.
During the summer, there are no Den or Pack meetings; but the Pack arranges a variety of summertime pack activities so that Scouts can enjoy a year-round Scouting program.Membership Dens
